Of the many theme gardens at the park dubbed ‘the gardening hub‘, this is the one that makes me sigh and smile wistfully. Not nearly as conventionally pretty as the other more manicured gardens featured there, but I’ve always loved vegetable gardens, even before I came across the ‘Grow Food, Not Lawns‘ thing online.
So lovely to have your own space to grow some of your vegetables. Doesn’t have to be as big as this, not even by half, just a little bit of space. Doesn’t have to be your entire supply of vegetables if that’s not possible. Even the privilege of growing just a tiny bit would still be exhilarating and fun and fulfilling.

Day 95
Oh it is dreamy!! Lovely~
Thank you, Cindy! I’m glad you like it too, my friend!
What’s better than a garden? And that last photo of the ‘vertical vegetable garden’ is very cool! It’s like a living buffet.
I love it too, it would be great for a balcony wall! Unfortunately I don’t have even that in our flat, but if any of our future residence happen to be apartments with balconies, I’m definitely giving it a go!
That’s such a great idea, Steve, I’m seeing ‘buffet’ literally. I’d install a small and decorative bar-style kitchen sink in that outdoor dining space. Impromptu salads and garnishes anytime those different lettuces and other suitable ingredients are ready to be enjoyed right then and there!
I like this! In fact, I spent this afternoon with my daughter and her boyfriend installing our garden for this season!
Oh wow, what a fantastic way to spend an afternoon together with your loved ones. It’s wonderful to have family and/or friends sharing the same interests!
