Coming across this post by Greg of the blog I follow A Life in the Day on my Reader brightened my day so much more. Thanks to his iTunes Saturday feature, I have now been introduced to ‘Happy‘ by Pharrell Williams. Which I’m already infatuated with now. It’s been on repeat for a while. When I wake up tomorrow it’s probably going to be ringing away in my head.
I’m not very familiar with the work of Pharrell Williams, but I’m turning into a fan. This is the second song by him I’ve heard lately that I really like. The first being Get Lucky, a song by Daft Punk which features Pharrell.

This post is Day 4 of ‘100 Happy Days‘. Which, by the way, ‘Happy‘ would make the perfect theme song for!
Happy meter: boogying on office chair sliding here and there.
This is such a good track! It really makes one feel happy. Or at least it makes me feel this way!
Isn’t it?! It’s fun how exhilaratingly joyous it is. I’m glad it makes you feel happy too!
Absolutely! I have been listening to Beyonce’s album non-stop for about a month now, it’s actually ridiculous but this song took me out of that Bey phase for a while and made me really happy and smile this morning.
So – THANK YOU :-)
Haha! Thank you to you too for sharing your joy with me!
Glad you like the song! Pharrell originally started recording with a group called N.E.R.D., a mix of electronic, techno, and R&B/funk. I like his solo sound, though.
Thanks, Greg! For the link as well. He’s this hyper creative and greatly talented guy I gather. A lot of things in different areas he’s done, and which he’s doing well! I read yesterday that he won this year’s Grammy for Producer of the Year too. Wow.
